GMAT preparation courses

Welcome to GMAT Holland. We provide preparation courses for the Quantitative Section of the GMAT test in Amsterdam. The GMAT is a test used by international as well as Dutch universities to select prospective students. The GMAT contains a Quantitative Section which can be quite a challenge, especially if you do not deal with mathematics on a day-to-day basis.

Your performance on the Quantitative Section of the GMAT test is, however, often key for the decision of acceptation to a master's or MBA programme. The reason is that a high quantitative score is considered as a sign of your capability of logic reasoning and solving complex analytical problems.

Our GMAT preparation course covers all mathematical topics needed for the test. We also teach strategies and short-cuts to attack different kind of questions, because the GMAT entails some peculiar characteristics that can work towards your benefit. As the GMAT is a Computer Adaptive Tests (CAT), a major challenge is dealing with the time pressure: our course, therefore, has a particular focus on improving your comfortability through making lots of past GMAT questions.

The set-up of the course benefits from our own experiences with standardised test taking. We took the GRE, a test very similar to the GMAT, for acceptation to our postgraduate degrees in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics. We all attained the maximum 800 / 800 score on the Quantitative Section. In addition, we have been teaching and tutoring mathematics and statistics to BSc and Msc students.

Our course consist of 4 evening meetings of 2.5 hours in the center of Amsterdam. We work in small groups of maximum 16 participants. This allows for group interaction and ensures that we can pay personal attention to each participant.

We kindly invite you to explore the website of GMAT Holland. If you have questions or require tailored advise regarding your situation, please do get in touch by phone, email or through this form. We would be happy to talk with you and hear about your ambitions for postgraduate studies.

Kind regards,
